Junior Group: Age 8/9 to U12
The Foundation: Although the Academy should set its end goal to produce high quality and high performance bowlers for entry into the senior ranks, we cannot stress how important the Junior Group is in laying the foundation for achievement of this goal whilst making it fun for this group.
Recruitment: A steady influx of new young recruits is vital to maintain adequate balance of numbers through each transitional age group stage of the Academy. Therefore establishing an effective recruitment strategic programme to promote our sport amongst the 8-12 year old's in schools, scout groups and youth clubs etc, is an essential element of the Academy's activities. It is with this age group you establish the interest and love of the game, which will support the long term commitment and loyalty under difficult peer pressure in their teens. We will assist you in development of a strategy, that will suit your area demography, which will include the appropriate resourcing plan.

Dedicated Management, Administration and Welfare [Safeguarding/First Aid] Teams
Dedicated qualified Coaching Team [Max 4-6 students per coach] and well supported with sufficient Junior size bowls and coaching equipment
Dedicated Junior Club night/weekend weekly sessions
Group Programme: Needs to be of games and target play, designed to incorporate development of techniques, whilst keeping it fun and light.
